Riga Hotel is situated in the most beautiful area of Riga`s center, just opposite the National Opera House and Freedom Monument and was built in 1956. In the 19th century, there was also a hotel on this spot. Well-known Rome Hotel was destroyed during the war. A new hotel was named after the capital of Latvia. Now it is a gateway to Old Riga (Vecriga), where all embassies, banks, shopping and entertainment areas, the main historical and architectural monuments as well as other cultural heritage objects are within easy reach.

Riga Hotel contains 235 well-appointed rooms including single and double rooms, suites and junior suites. All the rooms have simple modern interiors and are supplied with satellite television, radio, direct dial phone, a trouser press, a minibar and a hairdryer.
