    The Riga Hotel, situated in the most beautiful area of the center, just opposite the National Opera House and Freedom Monument, was built in 1956. In the 19th century, there was also a hotel on this spot. The well-known Rome Hotel was destroyed during the war. The new hotel was named after the capital of Latvia. Now it is a gateway to the Old Riga (Vecriga), where all the main historical and architectural monuments, embassies, banks, shopping and entertainment areas as well as other cultural heritage objects are within easy reach.

    The Riga Hotel contains 235 well-appointed rooms including single and double rooms, suites and junior suites. All the rooms have simple modern interiors and are supplied with satellite television, radio, direct dial phone, trouser press, mini bar and hairdryer.
